Supervisory Committee
The Supervisory Committee of America’s Christian Credit Union is responsible for determining that the credit union’s financial condition is accurately presented in our financial statements and that management procedures and practices are adequate to safeguard members’ assets. The Committee is responsible for overseeing the credit union’s internal control systems and contracting for financial and specialty audits with the help of our internal auditor and our annual independent financial statement audit.

Biographies

Geoffrey Fellows, MBA, JD
Director

Geoffrey (“Geoff”) Fellows is a Partner and COO for Embarcadero Capital Advisors, Inc. He oversees Tax and Estate Planning at a California-based wealth management firm with over $100M in assets. With a career spanning 30+ years in corporate leadership and small business development, Geoff has extensive experience serving on boards in banking, finance, non-profit, and local government sectors. He is dedicated to improving lives through education, compassion, and sustainable support. Geoff actively supports the “Meet the Need” ministry, which helps balance food pantry supplies with emergency community needs. Baptized Roman Catholic and raised Methodist, he now regularly attends and participates in programs at the United Methodist Church in Laguna, CA. Geoff is passionate about leaving the world better than he found it.

Adam Davidson
Vice Chair

Adam Davidson currently serves as Vice President of Administrative Operations and Corporate Secretary for The Foursquare Church. In this role, he aligns the organization’s efforts to achieve its mission through ethical management of business and financial operations. A Foursquare minister since 1994, Adam has held various leadership positions, including church planter, district administrator, executive pastor, and chief operating officer. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Ball State University and a Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership from Life Pacific University. Adam oversees Foursquare’s aligned businesses, such as loan funds, investments, and properties, and provides strategic leadership within the organization. He and his wife live in Tennessee with their four children.

Jason Tavarez, JD
Secretary

Jason Tavarez holds a BA from the University of Texas and a Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law. After law school, he served as Contract Coordinator and Risk Manager for Azusa Pacific University’s School of Nursing and Office of General Counsel. In 2020, Jason became the Executive Director of Institutional Resilience and Risk Management at Westmont College, overseeing risk mitigation strategies and insurance programs. Jason became a member of America’s Christian Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee in 2019 and then transitioned to the Board of Directors in 2022. He lives in Santa Barbara with his wife and their three children.

Daniel Wheeler
Treasurer

Daniel Wheeler grew up in Montana and rural Pennsylvania in a conservative Protestant family. He received his college degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and served in the U.S. Army Reserves while in college. He received his J.D. from New York University School of law where he served on the Environmental Law Review. Dan was baptized and confirmed as Catholic on Easter 2024. He lives with his wife and two daughters in San Jose, California. Dan has practiced law for over 25 years with a focus on financial institution regulatory law. He is also a fintech founder. Dan sits on the Financial Institutions Committee of the California State Bar, Business Law Section and writes and speaks frequently.

Barbara Dickerson, PhD
Director

Dr. Barbara Dickerson has over 40 years of experience in K-12 and higher education, holding administrative roles at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. She has served as Mental Health Liaison for California’s 32nd Congressional District and as Executive Director of a faith-based nonprofit. Recognized as Woman of the Year and Citizen of the Year for her civic contributions, she has also served as an elected official with a K-12 district and a community college. Now residing in Phoenix, she supports foster youth through Thrive AZ and enjoys time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Quentin Johnston
Director

Dr. Quentin Johnston grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland, where, before moving to the United States, he worked as a scrub nurse, founded Scotland’s largest mobile pressure cleaning company, and helped pastor a church and establish a Christian school. Quentin earned an M.Div., D.Min., and Ph.D. (Post-Secondary Education) from Whitefield Seminary, Lakeland, FL. Now an honorably retired Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), Dr. Johnston has served in pastoral and leadership roles in five churches, held board positions in three schools, led two schools as Headmaster, and served as Academic Dean of Whitefield College for eight years. He has a passion to see the development and financing of Christian institutions, in order that the gospel might be proclaimed in churches, schools, and in the civic sphere.

Kyle Rodgers
Supervisory Chair

Kyle’s mission has always been to help people unlock their potential through intentional planning and taking calculated risks. A 2008 graduate of Life Pacific College in San Dimas, CA, he is also a Licensed Minister with The International Church of The Foursquare Gospel. His early career included five years at The Foursquare Church national headquarters, where he served in financial oversight roles. In 2015, Kyle joined his father in business, combining their strengths to bring a multi-generational approach to investments. He cherishes working alongside his father and credits his wife’s love and support as a key to his success. Kyle and his wife, who married in 2012, enjoy raising their three children, engaging in youth sports, outdoor grilling with friends, and traveling together.

Nathaniel Shine II, MBA
Vice Chair

Nathaniel (“Nate”) Shine has served as Senior Director of Product Management at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. since 2015. With over 15 years of leadership experience, Nate excels at building high-performing teams and developing business strategies that drive profitability and enhance client experiences. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BBA in Accounting from California State Polytechnic University. Nate and his wife live near Los Angeles with their two children.

Michelle Norman, CPA
Secretary

Michelle Norman, an experienced Audit Partner, has led audit teams, managed firm offices, and served clients in numerous capacities. Her extensive background includes consulting on internal controls, GAAP reporting, budgeting, board training, fraud concerns, succession planning (including mergers and acquisitions), accounting software implementation, and financial viability. Known for cultivating strong teams with low turnover, Michelle provides strategic insights to help improve client operations. She also specializes in reviewing and enhancing attest services, including financial statement audits and reviews. Michelle’s tenure has solidified her expertise in accounting, auditing, and strategic problem resolution.

Keith Cox
Member

Keith Cox currently serves as General Treasurer and Financial Officer for the Church of the Nazarene, a position he has held since 2016. Prior to this role, Keith enjoyed a 34-year career with North American Savings Bank in Kansas City, where he served in various finance roles, eventually becoming bank president and board member. Keith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University and an MBA in Finance from Rockhurst University. He and his wife have been married for over 40 years and are passionate about missions, having led several international mission trips. They reside in Olathe, Kansas, and are the proud parents of two adult daughters.

Cordell Gee
Member

Cordell Gee is the Chief Financial Officer at St. Cloud Capital. Previously, Mr. Gee held a financial analyst position at Provident Financial Holdings Inc. (PROV), where he performed SEC reporting and internal ad hoc reporting. He also has worked at KPMG, LLP and Rothstein Kass &Co, performing public accounting work for financial services companies. Mr. Gee currently volunteers as a guest lecturer at Biola University in La Mirada, California and at California Baptist University in Riverside, California. He also mentors undergraduate and graduate business students at several universities. Mr. Gee received his MBA from California Baptist University and Bachelor of Science with a minor in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Gee is a Certified Public Accountant. He resides in Westwood, CA.
