National Credit Union Insurance Fund
Your deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), which is managed by the National Credit Union Administration, an independent agency of the United States Government. Your deposits are insured up to $250,000 per individual account and up to $250,000 for Individual Retirement Accounts.
American Share Insurance
Members of America’s Christian Credit Union with qualifying personal accounts exceeding the maximum level of coverage provided by the NCUA. Qualifying organization accounts (business/church/school/ministry) exceeding the maximum level of NCUA coverage are also insured up to an additional $100,000 by ASI for a total of $350,000 of coverage. How do I open a deposit account for my organization at America’s Christian Credit Union?
If you are in the neighborhood and would like to visit our branch, you can apply for membership in-person. Our relationship managers would be happy to assist you in applying for membership and opening any deposit account you need.
Otherwise, It’s quick and easy to open a deposit account when applying for membership from the comfort of your home or office. To begin the online application, click here. Then we will take it from there, one of our relationship managers will process your request and provide instructions for funding the account once your membership has been approved.

What information do I need to open an account?
You will need your:
– Physical address
– Phone number
– Doing Business As (DBA)
– Applicant Taxpayer/Employer Identification Number (TIN/EIN)
– Statement of Faith for non-denominational or independent church/ministry/school
– Formation documents (Articles of Incorporation or equivalent)
– Recent Board Minutes or letter from the Board Secretary identifying all approved account signers
How long does it take to establish membership and open my accounts?
This can vary based on a number of factors including the size of your organization and the number of signers required. We have seen an organizational membership opened in as little as 24-hours. Additionally, we have taken great care to make sure our process can be completed 100% online unlike many other banks and CU’s who require a visit to a local branch in order to open an organization/business account.
Does my organization need to be an America’s Christian Credit Union member to apply for a loan?
Your organization doesn’t need to be a member to start a loan application. However, your organization will need to qualify for and complete membership to finish the process. We are all about a life-long relationship – so your assigned business lending representative will walk you through all of the options and best practices in pursuit of your organization’s lending needs.
